About
Mahjong Research Co is a reference site and a few tools: a directory of mahjong groups, scoring references for six styles, a glossary of table talk, and the Mahjong Almanac (麻雀通勝), which keeps score during a game and keeps the record after it. It’s free. No accounts, no ads, nothing to download.
I’m Augustine. I’ve played since I was a kid, with family. Later I found the Los Angeles mahjong community, and through it a much bigger one worldwide.
I build this mostly as a tool for myself and my friends, and for people trying to start a club or run a tournament. Hong Kong mahjong resources in particular are very thin. I wanted to help with that.

Status
The directory and the Almanac are both in beta. Scoring coverage is deepest for Hong Kong and thinner for the other five styles. Corrections welcome.
